Exploring Yoga Nidra

Yoga Nidra is sometimes referred to as “sleep yoga”, however, the practice has much deeper layers that include the discovery of our heartfelt mission or desire, how we can build intention to achieve those goals, and maintaining our safe container through resources that assist us in staying present during difficult times. Through a gentle flow into a guided mindfulness practice, this course will offer opportunities for a deeper dive into consciousness layers of the body.  

Restorative Yoga

Reframing Your Fascia

In this 6 week course we will be exploring practices, stretches, yoga asana, and breathing exercises that will safely and gradually initiate a reframing and repairing of our fascia.  We will move, expand and massage our fascia in order to bring better inter-body communication, joint and muscle fluidity, flexibility, and sensory clarity through this amazing gateway. The approach of this class is based on both scientific methodology and personal exploration.  This class focuses on 5 of the 12 major fascial lines in our bodies for this series.

Introduction to Qi Gong: Summer

In this 6 week course we will learn the fundamental movements, breathing techniques, and short mediations that will introduce the practice, science, and philosophy of Qi Gong practice. Classes will include appropriate Qi Gong flow movement series for balancing states of energy, regulating body organs according to universal elements, and short educational discussions about philosophy and origin of practices for the season.

Qi Gong: An Autumn Practice

In this 6 week course we will learn the fundamental movements, breathing techniques, and short mediations that will introduce the practice, science, and philosophy of Qi Gong practice. Classes will include appropriate Qi Gong flow movement series for balancing states of energy for autumn, regulating body our lungs and large intestines, drawing power from the element of metal, and being inspired by the movements of the tiger, while also offering short educational discussions about philosophy and origin of practices for the season. Qi Gong for Winter

1 Course Workshop

In this 60 minute workshop we will focus on wellness through a winter inspired 5 Elements Qi Gong routine. Taking insight and movement influences from the element of water, bear animal frolics and the direction of North with intention of bringing balance and health to our kidneys, bladder, and overall body, mind and spirit. A short introduction to 5 Elements Qi Gong and the philosophy and origin of this practice for the season is included.

Qi Gong for Spring

1 Course Workshop

This workshop includes a 60 minute 5 Elements Qi Gong routine to enhance your spring health. The practice will focus on the element of wood, improving wellness through movement for the liver and gallbladder, and utilize nature wisdom through deer animal frolics and the direction of East in order to find balance within the season.   

This workshop will include 60 minutes of movement flow, breath-work, mindfulness, and a mini info session about Traditional Chinese Medicine and 5 Elements Qi Gong.  All are welcome.  No prior Qi Gong experience needed.
