100hr Nervous System Breathwork Training

A Trauma Informed and Human Centered Approach

100hr Nervous System Breathwork Training:

A Trauma Informed and Human Centered Approach

Breath is a powerful, accessible and sustainable gateway to the nervous system and overall health.  Practicing and offering breathwork from a trauma informed and human centered approach is essential to ensure that everyone can access their breath as a restorative and healing tool.

This training blends the practices and traditions of Breathwork with scientific nervous system education, while also supporting accessibility and inclusivity that creates a wholly transformative experience.

This training is designed:

  • for those ready to integrate a human centered and trauma informed approach and perspective into your current breath offerings,

  • if you are ready to learn more about the power of breath for your own personal practice,

  • to teach how to facilitate breathwork classes and workshops for others in your community.

The power of this practice lies in its accessibility: breathing is free, accessing your own nervous system is free, every body experiences challenges and stress, and Breathwork offers a gateway to tap into our nervous system and be our own healer.

Why Human Centered and Trauma Informed Breathwork?

This approach to Breathwork focuses on balancing and restoring the nervous system. This training guides participants in integrating Breathwork practices with basic somatic therapy principles to allow transition from reaction to response, nurturing resilience through nervous system foundations. By incorporating trauma-informed and human centered techniques, participants learn to create supportive environments that enhance attunement, choice, and empowerment while making the practice accessible to diverse individuals and communities.

This training is a space for:

  • self-exploration and skill development

  • equipping participants with tools to regulate their own nervous systems

  • seamlessly integrating these practices into their offerings to support others

As facilitators, we hold space for individuals and communities to explore their connection to breath, body, and mind. It’s essential to honor each person’s experience without trying to alter it, allowing restoration and transformation to unfold in its own time. By understanding the physiological and neurological aspects of practice, we can witness and support participants and ourselves in this journey toward healing.

Trauma-Informed & Nervous-System Breathwork does not aim to “fix” or “release” trauma, but to support nervous system balance through sustainable and accessible methods.

Participants will gain:

  • the knowledge and skills to guide others in managing their own emotions and responses

  • Skills on how to modifythe practices when needed in real time, and foster a sense of safety and self agency within their own healing journey

This training takes into account the power of restoration on a micro level (self) that can then affect and foster change on a macro level (community and larger systems) and the role that Breathwork as a nervous system balancing tool can play in this larger change and support for our human and universal collective.
