Service Clarification
*Somatic Experiencing techniques assist individuals to navigate uncomfortable and traumatic events using sensation, imagery, behavior, affect and meaning in order to restore the body to a more balanced state of being.
*Breath Sessions consist of a series of breathing exercises that can function to increase diaphragm and secondary breathing muscle strength, engage the parasympathetic nervous system, relieve anxiety, stress and depression, and assist in bringing a greater awareness to the self. Sessions are catered to the intentions of the participant if wanted and use techniques from Max Strom’s Breathe to Heal methods.
* Guided Meditation and Mindfulness Session focus on slowing down the body and mind in order to experience more clarity of life paths, release stress, and nurture resilience.
* Ayurvedic Health Counseling brings in foundational nutrition and body care routines that are specifically suited for your personal physical, emotional, mental and environmental climate.
*Yoga sessions might include pranayama practice, asana, and guided mindfulness. Your sessions can be catered towards any intentions that you are focusing on and any themes or topics you are currently exploring.
*Qi Gong is based on 5 Elements Qi Gong and explores the balance of universal energy based on seasonal and internal organ support.
*Mind/Body Sessions could include parts work, inner child exploration, body based tools for grounding and centering, resourcing, boundaries, dance therapy techniques and other somatic tools.
*TCTSY (Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga) is an empirically validated, clinical intervention for complex trauma or chronic, treatment-resistant post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). The TCTSY methodology is based on central components of the Hatha style of yoga, where participants engage in a series of physical forms and movements. Elements of standard Hatha yoga are modified to maximize experiences of empowerment and to cultivate a more positive relationship to one's body.
*Thai Yoga Massage alleviates stress and physical tension, assists with injury recovery, and can be a gateway to emotional restoration. It aids in sleep challenges, symptoms of PTSD, occupational burnout, as well as bringing balance back into the functionality and chemical make up of the body.
