It’s not a training
It’s not a certification
It is the work
The Impact & Why do it?
Supervision supports you during times of self doubt, counter-transference, ruptures, and professional stagnation. It builds upon the foundations of intuitive guidance, client/practitioner attunement, and creative solution flexibility as you work with individuals and groups. It is a reminder that this work is always expanding and you can evolve with it as you practice and support others, finding your voice and style of care that will keep your client relationships thriving and expanding. Supervision keeps you relevant, inspired, and connected to your practitioner community.
This exists because this work matters and so does your sustainability in it.
How this is different
Commitment to your clients and commitment to yourself while supporting them is crucial. Supervision brings the two together to offer a space where you can focus on both assisting your clients and making mentorship a regular part of your ongoing professional practice. There are many mentorships and supervision spaces becoming available. However, I combine deep rooted human centered, trauma informed approaches with a variety of somatic experience to each case. Here you will also learn how to utilize all of your trainings and certifications to work with your client in a more holistic way.
It’s not about one protocol for everyone, it’s about finding the most supportive restoration for each individual.
How it works:
Submit your Case or attend as a Professional Observer - both offer growth and skills building.
If submitting a Case:
Case submissions are always open, but close 24 hours before the scheduled Case Consult dates to ensure I have enough time to review them before hand.
Once you have registered for your preferred date, click on the Submit Case Form.
Cases are submitted through a private form that covers general background content, clinical and practical questions, what modalities you have been using, and what you would like supervision on.
Cases are on a first come first serve basis. If we have more time for extra Cases there will be additional opportunities to present.
During the Case Consult, practitioners who have submitted Cases will present briefly after which time somatic and trauma-informed supervision will be offered by me and any guests that we have with us.
All client identifying information is protected. Submissions follow standard de-identification practices to ensure ethical handling.
If you are attending as a Professional Observer, be sure to take notes on each Case that applies to your practice to utilize the methods discussed and explored for your clients as well.
No AI will be used and no recordings will be authorized to ensure confidentiality and ethical practice.
This is not for you if:
You do not want to put in the time, effort, or work
You are looking for quick fixes and money making schemes
You are seeking guarantees and cookie cutter protocols
Your are interested in only the Social media like practices, but not the integration
You believe that all practices are the same and all nervous systems are too
You are not currently working or studying as a helping professional
You are looking for another certification
In this work of providing support we must support each other as well.
It is vital to continue to learn and grow as practitioners, facilitators, space holders and catalysts for change. We are not meant to do this work alone. Supervision and Mentorship are places for non judgmental community engagement, collaborative thought process, skills growth, and committed nurturing of relationships in an ethical, responsible, and inspirational environment.
What is Somatic Work?
Somatic work refers to exploring and cultivating awareness of our physical, emotional, cognitive and spiritual bodies within our current living context and perspective. It includes the intention of nurturing the natural process of “feeling” while attempting to become more alive through the discovery of sensations like safety, calm and balance.
What is Supervision?
Supervision provides a place to connect, grow, and learn. It is an opportunity to expand beyond what you have gained in trainings and certifications, offering support while you do the work as a practitioner, facilitator and space holder.
It is not about mastery,
it is about aligned
healing support.
Why this exists now and why it is important
As the research and trainings concerning somatic and body based mental health care expand, the community based spaces for continued professional expansion has not kept up. Supervision is an opportunity to break away from burnout cycles, approach your practice from new perspectives, and take accountability for the integrity of your contribution to this field.
It is not about the status of a practitioner, it is about the attunment that they bring to each session with each individual nervous system.
When we meet:
Group Supervision and Case Consults are held once month.
3 Timezones are covered for accessibility:
North America and Oceania
Europe, the Middle East and Africa
South East Asia
Each session will be 1 and a half hours long
All times are US Eastern Standard Time. Please check HERE to convert to your timezone
What changes when you do this as a professional:
My mentor Catherine Ashton listened to me when I began my work in Somatic Therapy when I voiced my fear of causing harm and getting complacent. She looked at me with her piercing eyes and said “Good, being nervous means you are stepping into this space with care and consideration.”
As a Somatic Facilitator we have a responsibility to ourselves in this work and to those we are walking alongside and offering support to strive to continue to learn and evolve as practitioners. And while care can come with nervousness, it can also come with community connection.
You hone your attuntment. You deepen your observation, listening and mirroring skills. Your communication shifts. Your interpersonal intuition expands. Your presence, self trust, and awareness are nurtured. You are able to hold the experience of others in the moment while also having your own shared authentic experience.
Burnout does not become your default mode. You slow down and are able to offer more co-regulation for your clients as your own nervous system shifts. More self regulation is possible and you step into your true self as a helping professional.
