Summer of SelfCare~ 6 Week Live Online Class Series with Kirsten
Has the beginning of the year flow by? Did you have good intentions to rest, revitalize, and rejuvenate your mind, body and spirit before now? Are you feeling like everything you do is for everyone else? Do you want a little space for yourself this summer between vacations, kids, work, or playing catch up?
If the answer to any of these questions was “yes”, then it is time to reconnect with yourself through self care this summer.
SelfCare can mean many things to many people. For some of us it seems like a luxury; something that needs to be significant and take up time; something that takes us away from our responsibilities and loved ones. However, SelfCare can also be simple, sweet, and inclusive. We cannot pour from an empty vessel. It is time to refill yours so you can optimize your personal and community health.
In this 6 week course we will focus on practices, exercises, and journaling that range from creating new supportive spaces both internally and externally, guided vision journeys for self exploration and intention setting, creating personal rituals, grounding principles, creative outlets, and body shapes that influence the balance of your endocrine system and physical chemistry.
The approach of this course originates from multiple traditional and modern aspects of what self care can look like, feel like, and how it can transform your mind/body/spiritual connection. Kirsten offers practical analysis exercises as well as felt sense explorations to combine all elements of your whole being while you discover the evolution of your own self care practices and rituals.
Classes will include various different journaling prompts and worksheet, guided embodied movement and grounding techniques, personal vision journeys, mantra and affirmation creation, self awareness and regulation exercises, breath work, and ritual discovery.
